Focus and scope
Swiss Medical Informatics SMI is the official journal of the Swiss Society of Medical Informatics SSMI and the leading journal in the field of medical and bioinformatics in Switzerland.
The scope of the journal is to provide a platform for scientific research as well as practice reports, ensuring information leading to evidence based medical informatics.
Submissions within the sphere of influence of the SSMI with a scientific and / or practical background are welcome. Commercial publications are generally not accepted.
All submitted articles are subject to single-blind peer reviewing.
We are looking forward to integrating all groups of interest within clinical informatics in Switzerland and we hope to review many submissions to SMI, independent of your profession. Submit and be part of it!
The articles appear online as soon as they are accepted for publication.
